FOUR THINGS I DID IN MARCH THAT PROVE THIS:
  • Hung out with Darcy Redmond and Margie Green before Maggie's party without making a complete idiot of myself.
  • Snuck out of the house to go to Maggie Blume's party and totally pulled it off.  (Sorry Mom, sorry, God... but the church lock-in was the best cover ever.)
  • ...and had alcohol at said party with absolutely no ill effects whatsoever. (OK... so it was like, one beer, but still!)
  • Skipped school to have lunch with Trevor Sandbourne.

So break me down if it makes you feel right
And hate me now if it keeps you alright
You can break me down if it takes all your might
'Cause I'm so much more than meets the eye
- Seether, "Breakdown"

(Sorry JoBros... I'm branching out!)

SECRET #5:
Trevor Sandbourne smiled at me today. (I'm positive of it this time!) He's super-cute and he's a poet. I... don't know why I just wrote that -- it's not like someone reading this would need to know for clarification. Sheesh... I can't even be cool when no one's watching!

SECRET #6:
I'm totally going to Maggie's party. Three words... Church. Lock-In. Alibi.   And... wait for it... I'm getting ready beforehand with Margie Green and Darcy Redmond.  Who is this girl and what have you done with Merrie?  (Wait... who cares?  Tomorrow is going to be the best night of my life!)

SECRET #2:
I'm probably the only virgin in the entire school.

SECRET #3:
I wish I could be a little more like Margie, my project partner... she's super-cool, even if her life is a little crazy.

SECRET #4:
I am going to Maggie Blume's party if I have to fake my own death to do it.

It's safe to say I absolutely love my new Psych class this semester.  I know it's uber-nerdy, but... yeah, I've pretty much read the whole book already.  I think the most interesting thing so far is Carl Jung's theory of the collective unconscious... and the idea of the human mind not as a storage facility but as a device used to tune into sort of a... universal knowledge.

Only... I'm pretty sure mine's broken.  If there really was a bunch of universal knowledge floating around, I wouldn't be such a dork all the time.

SECRET #1:
I really, really want to know what it's like to cuddle under a fleece blanket with Jeremy Rudolph and a bottle of Scotch.

CHAPTER ONE: CRAP, I'M FREE! (PRIVATE)

  • Feb. 2nd, 2009 at 2:19 PM

Cary Retlin is a genius... in a really intense, sorta-weird, "cute but possibly psycho" way.  Honestly, I think Mary Anne Spier is probably the best thing that's ever happened to him; I don't think anyone in our class would have been surprised if he ended up in federal prison in a few years on some sort of white-collar corporate embezzlement charge or insider trading or something.

Okay, that's kind of mean... but look at what my computer can do now!  CRAP CRAP CRAP!  Hehe.  He totally hacked the Sentry password and now I can surf the Internet "outside the jurisdiction of the oppressive thumb of Big Brother."  Like I said... cute, but psycho.  :)

Anyway, I'm FREE!   (At least when my mom's at work.)  I'm not sure exactly what he did... he kept talking about Brutus which I'm assuming is either what he's named his laptop, or the name of the program he was using... ?  Oh well.. I think the less I know, the better.  It took about an hour for the program to figure out the password and while we were waiting we actually had a sort of nice normal conversation about books and stuff.  (He was in my eighth grade English class when everything went down with Mr. Morley... sigh.)

Whew!  Two and a half hours until my mom gets home.  Jeez... I can journal any time... I'm off to look at some good stuff!
